James Harrison - Theatre Electrician & Eos Programmer

 

Since completing training at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, I've been working regularly in stage management roles. Starting out as a Stage Manager / Technical Operator on a range of projects for companies including Red Ladder Theatre Company, Scarlet Theatre Company, Playbox Theatre Company and Theatre Sans Frontieres.
Since then I've worked with New Pantomime Productions as a Company Stage Manager in York (2006/7) and Southsea (2007/8), for Ian Dickens Productions as a Deputy Stage Manager (Relighting) on UK tours of 'The Business of Murder'(2008), 'Come on, Jeeves!'(2008) 'Sailor, Beware!'(2007) and 'Dangerous Corner' (2007), and for Theatre Resource as a Technical Stage Manager on their tour of 'Conquest of the South Pole'(2007), with UK Productions as Deputy Stage Manager for 'Cinderella' in Blackpool & Rhyl (2008 & 2009) as a Technician at the Alban Arena, and in an ICT support role with Buckinghamshire County Council.

Between 2010 and 2015 I worked at Mercury Theatre Colchester as Senior Technician (Lighting) and am currently Deputy Chief Electrician at Bristol Old Vic.
